Meet Aaron

Aaron Kurasch is a Senior Vice President of Pathlight Advisors in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has over 20 years of experience of financial advising at UBS, Smith Barney, and Ameriprise Financial with a primary focus of private wealth management.

Aaron earned a Juris Doctorate from the DePaul University School of Law.  After practicing law for a few years and rapidly earning the title of named partner at a prominent Chicago law firm, his career in law left him feeling unfulfilled.  It was at that time that Aaron followed his passion for the markets and helping people by turning his attention to becoming a financial advisor.

Pathlight is excited to bring Aaron and his knowledge of markets to help collaborate with the team's investment strategies and bring his high-level service model to their retirement plan participants.

Aaron is an avid sports fan and loyally follows and roots for the teams he grew up with in Chicago: the Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls, and additionally his alma mater, the Mizzou Tigers.  Aaron and his wife, Mara, have two sons, Devin and Parker, as well as their Italian Greyhound, Harpo.  His favorite family activities include travel, exercise, and attempting to try every restaurant in town. In his free time, Aaron enjoys relaxing with a fine cigar, playing poker, or nurturing his love of BBQ, as both a certified judge and competitor.  He has contributed to his community by coaching youth baseball and basketball for many years.
